U.S. Memorial Day Ceremony

Seoul, Republic of Korea – The media is invited to attend and cover a United States Forces Korea honor guard ceremony at Knight Field, Yongsan Main Post, at 3 p.m., on Thursday, May 26, 2011.

UNC/CFC/USFK Commander, Gen. Walter Sharp, will speak at the ceremony honoring American military members who have died in service to the nation.

Those interested in attending  the ceremony should e-mail their name(s), KID number or passport number and country of issue, and name of their employing organization to Kim Yong-kyu at kimyko60@hanmail.net, no later than noon on Wednesday, May 25, 2011

Credentialed Media members should plan to meet Public Affairs escorts at Yongsan Gate #5 and walk a short distance to the venue.
