OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea – On Sunday, March 25, 2012, U.S. President Barack Obama will arrive on Air Force One at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. President Obama will depart the Republic of Korea from Osan Air Base on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, from Osan Air Base. The arrival and departure of Air Force One is open to pre-credentialed media.
Members of the media who wish to cover the arrival AND departure of Air Force One should RSVP to Mr. Yong-kui Kim from the USFK Public Affairs Office at Yongkyu.kim6.ln@mail.mil by 12:00pm local time on Thursday, March 22, 2012. Media with additional questions can contact the USFK Public Affairs Office at 7913-4668 or 010-4528-4299.
The information requested below MUST be provided to the USFK Public Affairs Office by 12:00pm local time on Thursday. No late requests for credentials will be accepted.

Media interested in covering the arrival of Air Force One should meet at Songtan International Community Center at 4:00 A.M. on Sunday, March 25, 2012, to be shuttled by military transportation to Osan’s flight line. Additional details below.

Media Parking: Parking Lot of Songtan International Community Center
Live Truck Parking: All live trucks wishing to cover the arrival of Air Force One should arrive at Songtan International Community Center’s Parking Lot at 4:00 A.M. to be escorted by military personnel to the flight line.
Media Arrival: All media must arrive no later than 4:00 A.M. at Songtan Community Center to be shuttled by military transportation to Osan’s flight line.
Throw (distance from media riser to Air Force One): 150 feet
Cable Run (distance from live truck to media riser): 200 feet
Workspace and power are not available.
All names submitted for credentials must be accurate and reflect the identification media presents at check points for entrance. RSVPs do not guarantee access.
